(from artist's site) - Ralph Patt, was born in 1929 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1952 with a degree in geology. In Pittsburgh, he studied with guitarist Joe Negri.
After military service in the First Army Band, Governors Island, New York City, he toured as guitarist with numerous bands, including Neal Hefti (1955), Frankie Carle (1956), Les Elgart (1956), Benny Goodman (1957), Richard Maltby (1958), The Glenn Miller Orchestra led by Ray McKinley (1958) and Larry Elgart (1959).
Ralph worked in New York in the 1960's as a studio musician, Broadway theatre shows with Elliot Lawrence and as a staff musician at ABC. He attended the Manhattan School of Music studying with Gunther Schuller.
He studied guitar with Barry Galbraith, Jimmy Raney, Jim Hall and Chuck Wayne and co-authored a book with Wayne in 1965, "The Guitar Appreggio Dictionary". He also studied with George Russell and contributed to "The Lydian Concept of Tonal Organization".

(from artist's site) - From jazz guitarist to Army Captain to Corporate Executive, Howard Paul is a man of many talents. A gifted musician and business leader, he has for years maintained dual careers in music and corporate America. As a Captain in the US Army (1986-1995) and executive for Chatham Steel (1996-2006), he has shown a tremendous capacity in operations, logistics, and strategic planning. Musically, he has led his own trio and quartet since 1992, working regularly with bassist/jazz legend Ben Tucker. A recurring performer in Savannah’s annual jazz and music festivals, he hosts the house band at well-respected The Jazz Corner in Hilton Head, where he serves on the advisory board.

(from WidipediA: site) John Paul 'Bucky' Pizzarelli (born January 9, 1926 is an American classical jazz guitarist and banjoist, perhaps most notable for his work with jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli, his son. John has also worked for NBC as a staffman for Dick Cavett (1951) and also ABC with Bobby Rosengarden in (1952). The list of musicians Bucky has collaborated with over his career is considerable, including Les Paul, Stephane Grappelli, and Benny Goodman. Bucky acknowledges Django Reinhardt, Freddie Green, and George Van Eps for their influences on his style and mode of play.

(from WidipediA:'s site) John Pizzarelli, Jr. (born April 6, 1960) is an Italian-American jazz guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and bandleader born in Paterson, New Jersey. He is married to torch singer Jessica Molaskey whom he has recorded with on each of her albums, and is also the son of fellow jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli.
Pizzarelli has had a lengthy career as a recording artist, performing for a variety of labels that include Telarc Records, RCA Records and Chesky Records, among others. He has recorded twenty-three albums of his own, as well as other joint recordings with his father. Additionally, he has appeared on more than forty albums of other recording artists, including those of James Taylor, Rosemary Clooney and his wife Jessica.
Pizzarelli often performs with his own jazz trio, comprised of his brother Martin Pizzarelli on double-bass and Larry Fuller on piano. He is also sometimes compared to another jazz singer, Harry Connick, Jr., for his performances of jazz standards and overall popularity. John has appeared in commercials for Foxwoods Casino, and he and his wife are also hosts of their own jazz radio program (Radio Deluxe with John Pizzarelli).

(from artist's site) - Kenny Poole took up guitar at 14 years of age after hearing Chet Atkins’ album "Fingerstyle Guitar, and thinking to himself, "If this is possible, I want to do it." He became exposed to jazz and Brazilian music a few years later and fell in love with both.
Kenny was working professionally as a musician by 1966 and has extensive experience in recording studios, TV & radio, jazz concerts, and countless "gigs." He has been written up in many periodicals from Billboard to Guitar Player and all stops in between.
