The 17" body is built using the same, superior quality, laminated plates and solid ribs you've come to expect from us, and includes a premium quality Kent Armstrong Humbucker with volume and tone controls. "The Hero" features a solid ebony fingerboard, finger rest, pickup ring, bridge, and tailpiece and, is bound in matching black along the edges only. That however, is where the similarity to our other models ends...

The fine, Mahogany 2 piece neck is actually a bolt-in design, which not only offers the structural integrity of a fine joint, but makes further adjustability possible as well. Heck, you could conceivably have extra, interchangeable, necks if you chose to... One six string... One seven... And from the outside, the joint looks exactly like the traditional, glued-in dovetail!
